@signalapp Hey Signal Team. I like Signal as many users do, but I think I speak for many Signal users and the ones who want to use Signal: Please remove that Signal needs a phone number and the sms verification. You Guys are doing a better job than WhatsApp in terms of Security and Privacy. So those both are things no Signal user want or like. And many people want to use Signal but stay away from it because of that. Please listen to this wish from us as community. We support Signal as always!

@signalapp we don't depend on signal. Signal depends on our donations. People depend on WhatsApp because they are sure to find anyone and everyone there. (And so can authorities). Next most popular one but far less than WA is Telegram. These are not my choices. I don't donate for them. Signal is for those similar minded people whom I'll never meet nor share my daily stories with. Signal is like that secret app for the one special person whom you beg to install so you could serve them like a simp
