I think we can understand what the next stage in Minneapolis is going to be. The White House will attempt or will bring in the National Guard if not, the military effectively imposing something like martial law in the city and then ICE will start going door-to-door without restraint.
That’s my guess by the way. It will be effectively krystalnacht 2.0

This time around when they go door-to-door that will scan peoples faces, take away the people they will be taking away.

Walz has activated the Guard, to assist state and local police, not ICE. What that will actually look like is not known right now. But they're under his orders, not Trump's.
Well, I think it’s safe to say at this point the sheriff in the local police don’t seem to be doing anything about ice, and that may be strategic or tactical, other than you have laid claim to the crime scene, which is important but is little to no comfort to the people who have undergone this outrage

There are hundreds more ICE reportedly, than local cops. They're overwhelmed.
Strongman tactics to make people used to the new normal (having very little in the way of rights or laws), plus distraction from the fact that the government & constitution are being destroyed, the economy is tanking...

@GhostOnTheHalfShell My suspicion is that they will try to subjugate one city at a time. Not literally subjugate - but basically deplete the will to fight, resist, protest, and defend against fascism.
I don't know where LA stands exactly, but Minneapolis is putting LA to shame in terms of resistance.
Portland, Maine is about to find out.

Again my take now because doubling down is the only option for them is effectively martial law, and going door-to-door, scanning people’s faces and taking away whoever they feel like taking away.
Whether we see those people ever again, indeed if we ever see the people arrested shortly after the Alex Pettri was killed, there is an open question and I guess we’ll all find out over the next day or two
