I'm coordinator of the democratising tech collective in DiEM25 and it's open to any members who want to join. But if I have to endure even one more onboarding session for another dude trying to teach me that blockchain and "AI" can save us and remove trust from the social equation, I'll have to inform him he's now far exceeded the trust I'd generously put into this social equation and no amount of Bitcoin will ever be enough to make me give one single fuck about the slop manifesto he sent me.

Thank you for this information.

Unfortunately your organization #Diem25 supports the jew-hating #Handala e.V. in #Leipzig, which are even giving death threats to my incarcerated comrades of #AntifaOst

@inkorrupt Sad. I lose more and more faith that our revolution is possible every day, and find more and more reasons to give up on the organizations claiming to want it the more time I spend learning about and supporting them.

Like I said, there are people in these organizations who make me regret the faith I had put into the process of trying to help. Similarly I'm also a voter in the US so... I look to transform partly by occupying. Help wanted...

@resl
Cryptocurrency is useful for donating to organisations and movements frowned upon by the state.
Cases in point:
- WikiLeaks could accept Bitcoin while payment processors banned them.
- Palestine Action had a Monero address on their website last time I checked.
- (You might not like this one but I don't care) The Canadian trucker movement used cryptocurrency when they were banned from fundraising platforms.
