Judge platforms by their code, not their marketing.
If it's not open source, you're not the user, you're the product being sold.

It's not though, there's also diVine.video (Nostr);

Also Skylight (ATProto), which doesn't seem to have published source code yet, but that was also true of Loops when it first launched;

I agree this is far from ideal, but it's also orthogonal to the question under discussion. I wouldn't use or recommend it until full source code is available, but that was also true of Loops. I'm presuming full source for Loops is available now?
@strypey it’s quite an important distinction between max 6 second videos on divine compared to max 3 minutes on Loops, it’s a very different experience.
The full Loops platform has been open source for half a year with a dozen instances available!

Congratulations! I've recommended Loops to a number of young radicals I know. Hopefully some of them have checked it out.
