@lauren When someone spends 40 million (claimed) making a movie that nobody asked for, yet a bunch of people running streaming services put on black tie for an exclusive premiere, you don't need to win Academy Awards.
You just need people willing to demonstrate their loyalty by signing distribution deals for a movie that nobody will see. The black tie event was actually a personal fundraiser.
