Dear BBC It had been announced that Israel is to be allowed to participate in the next Eurovision Song Contest. In view of the horrendous atrocities being carried out by the Israeli state against innocent civilians in Gaza, the BBC must disassociate itself from this event. At the time of writing the BBC has made no intimation that it is minded to withdraw. To not withdraw would be to tacitly support the killing of innocent men, women and children in Gaza. I formally request that the BBC state that it will withdraw from the Eurovision Song Contest unless Israel is excluded.
