I was listening to #CharliXCX's "Everything Is Romantic" today, and the section where she repeats "fall in love again and again" over and over … it just _did_ something to me. It resonated with me.
Still thinking about this.
Let me ask you something: Do you think recommending to people to "fall in love again and again" is _ethical_?
Sure, there's this romantic idea of falling in love with your partner again and again, renewing and rediscovering your affection for each other.
But let's assume for a moment that this is not what the song is about. Let's assume you're falling in love with _new_ people.
This inevitably means that you'll break up with lots, too, right? How would that work?
What bugs me is that I've made a seamless 8-bar audio loop in Ableton that was exactly 12.8 seconds long, then used #ffmpeg to sync that up with the original video at the right time and create an output video that's again exactly 12.8 seconds long, but now the audio doesn't loop seamlessly anymore and I don't know why
And no, it's not just a playback issue. When concatenating three copies of this with -stream_loop, there's also a tiny dropout at the seams 🫤
