Weird. The volcano Kilauea started erupting last night and I’m just going to mention that in Hawaiian legends, Kilauea is the home of Pele and these eruptions are seen as displays of her passion and strength. Tūtū Pele is a symbol of resilience and transformation for Hawaiians, on this random Saturday in October where millions of people are heading out to protest a tyrant.
