Here’s a great drone shot of Portland No Kings today. (That’s me in the very bottom/right corner.)
Portland is no NYC, SF, Chicago, etc. But we represent. About 50,000 of us marched almost 4 miles. There was love, good vibes, and friendly people. And of course, as always, it was weird.
Whose streets? Our streets.

Me in my inflatable costume that looks like I’m riding a chicken. I’m wearing a black t-shirt, a colorful baseball hat, sea foam green glasses, and a backpack. I’m holding a sign that reads “cluck you, I won’t do what you tell me.” Behind me is a concrete wall for a roadway with lots of graffiti on it.

Aerial shot looking down at a crowd of protesters marching across a bridge. In the front are two large multi-person banners. One reads “no kings Portland.” The other reads “abolish ice.” Among the group are many people wearing inflatable or full-body animal costumes. Including me, with a inflatable that looks like I’m riding a chicken. My sign reads “cluck you, I won’t do what you tell me.”
