@noellemitchell @alice That someone would choose an AI chatbot over Wikipedia as a source of information is completely beyond me.

@Em0nM4stodon I've been depressed by how many YouTubers (not big ones, just small channels) casually mentioning that they "researched" something by using ChatGPT.

Over and above the bias and inaccuracy of the models, I think we have to do a better job of letting the public know they're supporting corps stealing water and abusing the grid just for their convenience of looking up trivia.
