I am connected with a very small, tight non-profit that is badly in need of getting their web site up on blocks and really worked over.

I could take it on in learn-as-I-go dribs and drabs, but the responsible thing to do would be to find them a proper professional front-end Wordpresser who can work a redesign to proper WCAG/Canada specifications, as well as pretty up but not dramatically alter their core brand appearance.
