People forget that, now that #COVID19 doesn't fill hospitals and morgues, the virus remains acutely dangerous to children who are under- or un-vaccinated. Adults have some protection from prior infections and vaccinations, but young children do not.

The hospitalization rate of kids under 4 in the US is equal to the rate for adults aged 50 to 64. Children under 4 are hospitalized at 5x the rate of people aged 5 to 49.
