Bluesky Birthdate Required
So, it seems like now you can no longer use #Bluesky unless you provide them with your birthdate.
Others report you can't even delete your account unless you provide your birthdate to them (https://mastodon.social/@JennCutter/115686590793556531)

Exactly. The fact that they are asking for a specific date of birth is very problematic from a privacy protection standpoint.
Raises questions. How is this information being stored? Is it being sold to data brokers? Is it available to government authorities? Under what circumstances?

There's no justification for them needing it in the first place so I will happily lie until they ask for an id then I will email their customer service obscenities and leave.
