The #Microsoft Sculpt keyboard is apparently dearly loved by many, but while idly browsing for second-hand split keyboards on eBay, I discovered many are sold without the proprietary dongle... because the dongle tends to die after a couple of years of life, and MS offer no replacement or alternative, leading to expensive keyboards that become ewaste very quickly.
