I realise more important things are happening, but I just finished a dress for my niece and am very happy about it.

Same dress showing the effect of the purple simple center when seen from the front. The white edges are less visible, making the darker part of the dress stand out.

A colour blocked white and deep purple dress (purple in the center, white at sides and sleeves), with a gathered skirt. Ties in the sides. Buttoned bodice at this side. The skirt has figures of women in colourful kimonos.
