I think this is a Little Gull flying from right to left just above the surface of a calm lake at sunset. A gray-blue wash at the base of the frame merges into warmer pale oranges and speckled blacks at the top. The smallest gull found in Japan, it displays winter markings that鈥檚 to say, its head has turned white with dark gray markings on the crown and nape. Its bill is black. Angular wings on the down sweep also have black and gray marking with a white leading edge.
It feels like the end of a peacful day.
