The hut is made from old railway sleepers, oriented vertically with smaller planks covering the gaps. The smaller planks have weathered significantly and are much lighter tone, giving the building a striped appearance. The paint on the door is peeling off in places.
Above the door, written with lines of nails is 19NCC30. It was the Newtonmore Curling Club hut, at Loch Imrich
