Canada has around 28,500,000 registered voters.
The current NDP leadership campaign has raised the number of NDP members from 60K to 100K.
That is around one-third of 1% of registered voters.
Gods but that's depressing. #NDP #cdnpoli

@AlisonCreekside

The CPC have about 678,708 members (according to Wikipedia) and the LPC have about 400,000 members. So, percentage of registered voters who are members for each party is:

LPC: 1.4%
CPC: 2.4%
NDP: 0.35%

Pretty dismal numbers. Canadians aren't really engaged in politics. But yeah, hopefully things improve for the NDP.
