Band of Pulses at Bop Shop Records, Saturday night.
A rare, for me at least, flute-led band. Majority of material came from leader Elsa Nilsson's Atlas of Sound: Project Oasis where she traveled to Patagonia, immersed herself in nature there, and then drew inspiration for new music. Most everything else was in some way nature-inspired too, all of it fantastic. Bass flute is a vastly underrated instrument, though even she only played it sparingly.
