Sean Penn skipped the Academy Awards last night for Ukraine. He met with President Zelensky today in Kyiv.

Penn won the award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in One Battle After Another.

But instead of attending the ceremony at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, he chose to travel to Europe, then onto Ukraine.
