@geofftc The bodies come from the stock trove of H Armstrong Roberts, the photog who more or less invented stock photography and whose entire corpus is in the public domain.

The background is from Agostino Ramelli’s Theatre of Machines (1588) - a catalog of every machine know in Europe at the time.
