I'm not a music nerd by any stretch, but I do love watching an orchestra play something physically demanding. It's like watching gymnastics or dance.
Some faves:
- The Green Hornet

Bonus xylohone version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7IjrfL7CrY&list=RDf7IjrfL7CrY&start_radio=1
- Flight of the bumblebee - I can't find my favourite rendition anymore, but it had a playful conductor and a theatrical orchestra who acted as though they could see the bee itself. It was fun.

- Helter Skelter (the xylophone piece, not the Beatles). I saw my granddad perform this on the Xylophone with the local big band when I was a tween. He did all the same theatrics. It was more fun than I was expecting. The physically hard bit is toward the end.
