No wonder LLMs get stuff deeply wrong.

@cigitalgem oh they STOLE ALL THE WORKS and used them ALL for training... the searchable database of works covered in the Anthropic settlement is much smaller (largely because of copyright registration but not exclusively — I have 90+ works stolen, most of those copyright registered and yet only 37 in the "settlement database").

There are youngsters in law school who'll get to retirement in this...
For anyone with IP: give some serious thought to how you want to handle this going forward, but at minimum, I would make sure you have a will (and/or trust) to convey your IP to your heirs in a rock-solid fashion.

For me, the real challenge is making sure my heirs (or even me) actually know which works were published when, copyright registration filed, changing titles (!!), all that stuff. You can't file a claim if you don't even know what you have.
