For me, the real challenge is making sure my heirs (or even me) actually know which works were published when, copyright registration filed, changing titles (!!), all that stuff. You can't file a claim if you don't even know what you have.

...a reminder that your IP lives on after you. Your estate could be recipients of future payouts from class action lawsuits (and/or file lawsuits themselves) and you just want to protect their legal ability to file claims.
