I want a Meshtastic thing with a solar panel and a battery, that's weatherproof, and that requires minimal know-how for set-up, because although I am a nerd I am not an electronics/software nerd.

Can I buy something like that ready-made? I am in the UK but I am happy to buy from overseas. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I am buying my first LoRa device.

Following the insightful buying guide by LocalMesh Netherlands, I am thinking I will go for LYLYGO T-Echo Plus. I would like to buy it from the official website, where it costs ~54€.

Literally everyone should be mass-ordering SEEED Studio T1000-E, installing #meshtastic, and the more tech savvy should be putting solar nodes (SEEED and RAKwirelesa prebuilt solar nodes) as high as possible with that or #meshcore.
