University of Alberta Mixed Chorus Alumni Association's Facebook post from January 7th: It is with deep sadness that we share the news that Bob de Frece passed away today. Bob was known to many through his work with the University of Alberta Mixed Chorus, the Faculty of Education Handbell Ringers, and the Greenwood Singers. He was a fixture in the choral and music education communities, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who had the opportunity to interact with him. We extend our sincere condolences to Bob’s family and friends during this difficult time. Funeral arrangements are currently being made and will be announced in the near future. A photo of Bob is featured in the post.
