1968 Album Cover of
Geoff and Marie, ‘Pottery Pie’
It shows a man and a woman lounging in bed reading a book, magazines and newspapers.
The bed is dominated by the large crocheted bed cover in 60s autumnal colours. The wall behind them is painted a woody green, and there’s a Boston Red Sox pennant/flag stuck through the ornate bedside lamp shade beside the man’s head.
Having established a reputation with the Kweskin Jug Band during the 1960s, Geoff and his then wife Maria Muldaur recorded their first album, Pottery Pie, for Warner Bros. Records, in 1968. This album contained his version of "Brazil" ("Aquarela do Brasil"), which became the theme for the film Brazil (1985) directed by Terry Gilliam.
