Last night at my event at Denver's Tattered Cover; a reader slipped me a lovely card with a $100 bill in it. Today, I'm donating that $100, as well as $100 of my own money, to support the people of Minneapolis. My sf writing colleague Naomi Kritzer has a guide to supporting Minnesotans:

@pluralistic

This is a great read.

Boycotting works. If it doesn't bring the companies to heel, then it erodes their bottom line, making them weaker. As a Canadian it can feel especially powerless not to have influence, but to be literally within sight of the border.

For those who don't want to read the article:

Target, Home Depot, Enterprise Car Rental, Hilton, and Delta Air Lines

They will never get another penny from me.
