6. BACKPACKS ARE AWESOME cuz you carry stuff and have your hands free. am a lazy protestor, so i just pin my banners to my backpack 😉
7. START HYDRATING NOW because that way your body will regulate itself by the time of the protest ―if you’re a bit dehydrated, you will be peeing more now than by the time you hit the #NoKings streets
8. BRING SNACKS keep them balanced: not too salty or sugary ―though i’ve been know to eat chips & bananas as a protest snack… 🧵

9. TAKE ALL YOUR MEDICATIONS before #NoKings. if you are on a schedule, bring them ―even if you think you’ll be home in time, you never know if traffic will be out of control tomorrow.
also, AM NOT AN MD but if you like me, suffer from:
- #sports urticaria, take an antihistamine beforehand
- #fibromyalgia, muscle fatigue or old age after prolonged activity,
-- take an ibuprofen tonight
or
-- take 4oz of tart cherry juice beforehand
