So after my meeting I thought about how it's supposed to get colder every day for the next few days and how we might get another big snow on Sunday. Instead of settling in to write, I bundled up and went to the grocery store. I feel much better about the state of my refrigerator and pantry now.

Good morning!
Another frigid day. 7F (-14C). The weather folks keep pushing off the day we will warm up to freezing or above, so the literal ice will stay for at least a week or so more, along with more snow, maybe a lot of snow, on Sunday.
Somehow I thought climate change would mean warmer winters. I didn't figure on this polar vortex stuff.
I have a virtual meeting with my financial advisor this morning, and then I will try to write and do some more cleaning.
