The new work programme for young people will be seen he said on Sky News, 'both an offer [and] an obligation'; failure to engage with the work programme will, ha stated pretty clearly mean the withdrawal of benefits.

Once again our political class is demonising the workless, assuming being out of work is voluntary; which for many is just not true!
