Tanille Johnston is a real road warrior! She describes her whirlwind 72 hour tour of the Maritimes. She noted the differences between BC Ferries and the Marine Atlantic ferry service. She and Tony talk about #PR and how many votes Tanille received and yet remains unelected. She is still working at her job and using vacation time. She definitely should go to the House of Commons! #ndp #ndp2026 #bc #britishcolumbia #proportionalRepresentation #cdnpoli #tanillejohnston

Tanille is a proud Liǧʷiłdax̌ʷ woman from the We Wai Kai First Nation. A dedicated social worker, mother, and bold new voice for the future of the NDP. With over 14 years of experience, she serves as Director of Community Programs with the First Nations Health Authority and as a City Councillor in Campbell River.

Tanille’s leadership is rooted in action—advocating for equity, building healthier communities, and pushing for institutional change. She’s not here to play it safe. She’s here to build a movement grounded in grassroots organizing and justice.
