The 4-page letter was dated Oct. 28. But it was provided to #Trump by #RogerStone, Trump’s longtime on-&-off “political” [ #criminal] adviser [ #ProudBoys], just hours before Trump announced his plan to #pardon #Hernández, Stone said on his own radio show on Sunday.
A White House official said Trump had not seen the letter before he posted on his social media platform, Truth Social, on Friday about the coming clemency grant [sure, we believe you 🤦🏼♀️].
“The #pardon of #JuanOrlandoHernández, a convicted massive drug trafficker, sends reverberations to all of the countries that have fought #DrugTrafficking & lost hundreds of lives,” said Mike Vigil, fmr head of international ops for the #DEA.
It was not immediately clear where #Hernández will go upon his release[Mar-a-Lago?]. His lawyer said Hernández did not have a passport & his family has been receiving threats since #Trump announced his intention to pardon him.
