Trust is always revocable.

If you liked a product or piece of software, and it becomes worse, changes the conditions, adds spying functions, you can change your mind and stop trusting and using it.

You should always re-adjust your judgment when receiving new information.

This is applicable to products, platforms, companies, political parties, and people.

@Em0nM4stodon and that's why it's so important to own something. So even if the company that made the product changes, you can keep the product without them interfering.
Steam being awful is just a leadership change away...

@Em0nM4stodon I'm using windows, google, facebook, instagram, linkedin and whatsapp for like 10 years now (I'm in my mid 20s by the way). At first it was fun sharing with friends, texting, gaming and everything was fun. But the trust felt apart by each day with those big tech companies who doesn't give a shit about their users. With those chat control and mass surveillence, windows expiration, google asking devs to KYC... Damn man what's happening to this world. I'm glad I found mastodon. I really am. I installed fedora 42 in my pc, de-googlized, switched to private mails, unistalled insta and FB, installed F-droid on my android phone.... Man life never felt more lighter!!!

I'm a creative designer help me out if anybody knows any great platforms to checkout.

@Em0nM4stodon indeed. Especially putting 'AI' in makes me consider dropping, even if I otherwise like it
