So #Onirism is out of Early Access, and so far (about an hour in) it's not bad. Looks and feels very PS2-era platformer/arena shooter, which is no bad mark in my book! Are the graphics jank? Well, yes -- but not substantially more than your average indie game.
If I have any issues so far it's that it's Unity, so of course you've got the occasional crash, and also keymapping is a bit weird to start, nothing too far out of the ordinary for a KB/M shooter. (Whatdya mean, E and Q to strafe? A and D, that's the ticket. E and Q can be the items, and F to interact.)
For those who liked A Hat in Time for the Mario-esque platformer side of things, this would be the indie answer to Serious Sam and the like, and I'd say so far it's worth the price of admission if nothing else.
