Vanadinite Crystals, Morocco - A very nice specimen of large vanadinite crystals displayed by Fine Minerals International at the Tucson Rock and Gem Show. Shot through glass, handheld, this image barely does justice to the vivid color and glow of these chunky crystals. From El Kwal, Mibladene, Midelt, Khenifra Province. About 3” long, 2” tall, dark orange 6 sided crystals seem tumbled and frozen together, all sizes with the largest about 1/4” diameter.
