@avilewis @chad I’m going to add that it looks to me like Team Avi has taken a thoughtful approach to joining Mastodon, and the Fediverse, so far.

⁃ Posting in both official languages
⁃ Well-crafted description/alt text on images and videos
⁃ Following (many) Canadians
⁃ Relevant (to me, anyway) posts
⁃ Favouriting posts by others (I got a couple, anyway)

What I still would like to see:

⁃ Mastodon-style account verification using https://lewisforleader.ca
⁃ At least a little interaction with accounts here , not just broadcasting

And one day in the future I'd like to see the NDP running their own server(s), but I think this has been a welcome and successful first step. Nice work, Team Avi!
