Decent turnout tonight at the ICE facility in Portland, Oregon. A call to action was put out after border patrol executed Alex Jeffrey Pretti in Minneapolis earlier today.
Earlier some barricades were put up against the gate where the feds typically come out from, including dumpster that got rolled over. Another door was also barricaded.
Feds have tear-gassed a few times but a ton being deployed right now. Lots of loud booms and lotssss of gas.
Ground is covered in powder from spent munitions
Portland police bike cops and the riot van just pulled up but quickly left
There was SO much teargas but that did not deter people. Feds are lined up behind the gate, people have regrouped and are now chanting “fuck you Nazis” at them
That was another very VERY brutal and intense Rand od gas. They were aiming for heads. Even with full face on had to get medical help. Footage and update soon. Phone coated in residue
Had to clip the video in two parts because it's too long so check next post. This was intense. The feds were so heavy handed with munitions and intentionally aiming for heads. Countless people being treated by medics. At least one person did get hit in the head but luckily are ok.
Leading up to this people were just standing in front of the building and chanting. No cars came in or out. No arrests. Just violence for the sake of violence.
Again, this was really intense and their use of munitions was extremely heavy handed. But people are still holding ground and remain undeterred. If anything, people seem angrier and more determined.
