Great news today the French government have launched their own Visio video conferencing tool #digitalsovereignty

But the PR stories, while explaining it is French built, don't mention it is Open Source and based on LiveKit - so any government can reuse what they have done.

I spent about 3 hours getting an instance set up on my server!

So far so good, I like that it integrates screen-sharing from the OS.

It's current tool set doesn't have any moderation tools I can see, so you have to trust everyone you send the link to!

I'm sure the webinar style tools will make an appearance at some point.

@rexbron To be fair it's for internal government use but yeah that could be an issue!
