New York City’s oldest resident, Louise Jean Signore, has died at the age of 113. Born in Harlem in 1912, she lived long enough to witness two world wars, the Great Depression, the moon landing, and the World Trade Center twin towers being both built and destroyed. At the time of her death she was the 4th oldest living person from the U.S., 15th in the world.
