The problem that I thought for sure was a cache issue turned out to be PEBKAC.
An inmate was moved from one cell to another. The person responsible for recording the move entered an invalid location. As a result, the inmate couldn't order weekly commissary store for almost two months. Cause identified and resolved yesterday.
My immediate response to this news:
"The system LET them enter an invalid location?"
my headaches are not the same as my coworkers' headaches
#PrisonLife aside, first time I heard that term was from an Eastern European scientist at the lab where I worked -30 years ago after realizing that what he thought was a system thing was his own fault. So whenever I had to explain it to others I seemed to say it with a phony Russian accent.
(It occasionally occurs to me that I might be one of my coworkers' headaches)
