Early in covid lockdowns, one of our daily standup calls started with "*beep* 'shit! Shit shit shit *fumbling noises* *thud* goddammit! *bump* *skidding noises*' has joined the conference" as my colleague dialled in then dropped her phone and kicked it under the couch.
