All the "AI" products they developed would have been impossible without exploiting the creations and personal information of millions of people without their consent.
This is happening without any compensation for the hard work and data of the people without whom their technology would be impossible.
They are making billions from this exploitation.

@Em0nM4stodon Good point, but they are not making billions. They are taking billions from investors and then failing to make any money at all from the actual products.
@mikemccaffrey Indeed. I hope this all crashes soon. But sadly, I fear they will indeed make billions, not just from investors' borrowed money like they do now, but from governments contracts. That's what they're going after now. And we will be the ones paying the price again.
@Em0nM4stodon @mikemccaffrey Well, no company is making money - but individual assholes are indeed getting VERY rich on this as we speak. You better believe the main game for almost everyone at the top levels of these companies & on the investor side is siphoning as much wealth out of those systems as possible, so they can keep it when the bubble bursts.
