Morning worked in my hotel, made a trip to meet collaborators briefly, had lunch with them at the cafeteria. One showed me a pic of Jonangu taken yesterday, & on my 18 min train ride back to Sannomiya - looked up Jonangu location (it was in my bookmarks) & saw that it is 90 mins away with a rapid express from Sannomiya. Sped to hotel, dropped computer off, picked up camera and made it to the 2:07. Was at Jonangu at 3:40. Spent an excellent 45mins there! #Kyoto #Japan #Bloomscrolling #DasJP26

Jonangu was in my bookmarks and high in my mind thanks to @camelliakyoto
Between that and the pic that my collaborator showed from his Sunday visit, I was spurred on my otherwise impromptu trip! So what if the plum blossoms were allegedly gone - it was still a treat!
