Follow-up to that #Georgia-14 non-partisan Congressional primary yesterday. Preliminary review of the initial #electionresults should scare the living BEE-JEEZUS out of the #GOP.
Although #Democrats will likely lose in the 7 April run-off, they over-performed by a 17-point margin from 2024. They over-performed by 30 points in #Hispanic areas of the district. #elections #uspolitics #uspol #elections2026
@mastodonmigration I know, right?? I gotta believe it is the big Hispanic swing. Also significant that the Democratic candidate is African American - which can have a chilling impact on Hispanic turnout. But not this time a 30 point shift is SHOCKING!!⚡
