Was looking at https://bandwagon.fm (by @benpate) after seeing a new album posted there by @punkterrorist. I go to https://bandwagon.fm/69b2b1ebb92ab6bcbd1651e1 clicked on the ... menu and it opened a "Add/Edit Fediverse Account" modal. I was like: I wonder what thats gonna do?! I can add *any* site on the social web! So I go for it and add my Pixelfed account (@wakest), and then I click the 🖤 icon and get sent to "Sorry, this can't be completed."

I then am like ok fair, that isn't implemented in Pixelfed, it should have probably warned me with a "toast" or something but alright it least it didn't try to save an action it cant preform. So I then I click on the Share button and it loads @share's profile in a new window.
So lastly I am like might as well should try the Embed button huh?
I go to the profile of the band: https://bandwagon.fm/@67a1f41ff050061c8b4d6865 and paste that link into my Mastodon search bar and it loads the profile: @atemptatsonor which shows up blank of course because we designed the fediverse without thinking of the user affordances of what that would actually look like.
so to continue on where I left off with this I was back at the profile of @atemptatsonor still with the #Pixelfed account logged in and I click "Follow for Updates" which leads me to the my the login screen of pixelfed.social which I then login to and am greeted by this empty profile that says "This profile is private" but I know that is not the case cause it doesn't says that anywhere on https://bandwagon.fm/@atemptatsonor

Huh, that’s a new one. There IS a public/private setting on Bandwagon profiles, but setting it to private shuts EVERYTHING down so you’re just invisible to the world.
I’ve got this on my Bandwagon bug list and will try to replicate it with a test account.
