some may think that because I have not posted about #knitting in a while i have not been knitting
actually I have been knitting one giant project since we moved
it's done! 7.5 balls of "petrol" and 7 balls of "vapor gray" bernat blanket in honeycomb brioche stitch. it's thick
A close-up of the texture. Now it's possible to see that the yarn is a fuzzy chenille and the stitches are all really large. The honeycomb contrast color presents as an almost-hexagonal webbing of gray strands overpaid on top of what looks like normal dark gray stockinette.
A freshly made king-sized bed topped with a gray textured two-tone handknit blanket. The blanket is two-color honeycomb brioche with a dark gray as the base color and a lighter gray as the contrast. The yarn is a fuzzy chunky chenille. The rest of the bed is neutrals too - marled gray sheets and pillowcases and pale beige accent pillowcases. It looks very flat and comfy.
