The yarn for my cardigan arrived! I guess I will spend some time tonight wrapping it into balls. My wife says I should get one of those ball winding contraptions, but idk, I'm impatient and I'll probably just do it by hand. At least this time.

🧶🧶🧶 FINALLY back in the saddle with knitting. Nasty old shoulder injury cropped up about a month ago. Ugh, soooo painful.

Started this new Stephen West shawl, #Icelandscape, only to realize I don't have enough yardage of colors, so am subbing in some solid sections which should work fine. It's good to have needles back in my hands, and to be back with all y'all!!

I spent some time this morning at a knitting group that takes place at our library. We're all post-menopausal women with no fucks left to give & we talked about the advantages of wearing wool when protesting outside in cold weather. And we agreed the folks in Minnesota are metal.
