Diuris sulphurea (tiger or hornet orchid) near the Wonboyn River, NSW. This widespread species is often the last yellow Diuris flowering in East Gippsland (into January at some locations) but I only came across this one plant out on my last quick trip across the border - and that was still in NSW! The lack of spring rain might have cut short the flowering season in some places this year.

It was rough...#TGIF. I had to catch up with what has happened over the past two weeks then tackle the new things at work, while my jetlag kept telling me it's nighttime... I was clever to go back to work just one day so I can get adjusted more over the weekend😁
Kengo seems more adjusted to life back at home.
Two sasanqua are blooming, way off-season.

Nice pink variation in this year's Corunna backdoor sun orchids (Thelymitra sp. - T.peniculata and/or T. pauciflora).
Quite a bit of variation in flowers (colours and structures) and leaf size in this small population next to the house. All of the plants are fairly shy to flower with only one or two buds opening for an hour or so on some warm / humid days.
