The crack of dawn came and went without us. We were so cozy warm in bed that nobody was in a hurry to go outside in the cold.
Summer flips over in the middle of the bed for the scritches to start her day. As soon as she thinks she's has enough she jumps down to fetch her pal's slippers. We only need another minute to get him untangled from hoses and then dressed.
All three of us braved the cold to check the rain gauge and to let Summer run her perimeter check.
I got so much done yesterday that we can relax a bit today. I did promise to bake banana bread and muffins to replenish the stash in the freezer.
Writing to friends and addressing Christmas cards needs to get done, too.
Summer and her pal decided that the cold was too cold outside so they opted for indoor antics.
